About 8 months ago I got into some serious trouble trying to fight back against DV. In some ways, I am grateful for that experience, because it got me out of a terrible place I’d been stuck in for a decade. I stayed at the DV shelter in town for a while, and then left town to help family and focus on working with the court. I returned recently to finish up the latter and get back on my feet.
I have a job working at the Goodwill in town, and I’m hoping to find a place (apartment or roomshare) to start over and re-write my future. I have one registered emotional support animal, a mini heeler named Blue. I’m going to be on probation for the fiasco that led to me finally getting out of DV, for no more than one year. I do not use drugs, do not use alcohol, and have a medical card but don’t much use that either.
‼️Probation would only be allowed to search common areas and my personal room, if we shared a home together‼️ Your and other housemates personal rooms would not be subject to search‼️
Please give my pup and I a chance at a new life. She’s well trained, housebroken, and a sweetheart. I have experience housekeeping and cooking, am an artist and an enjoyer of literature, video gaming, walking in nature, and as tacky as it sounds, enjoy laughter. You learn to appreciate that one after living in violence for so long.
Please, NO MORE MEN BEING CREEPY!!! I just want a home and the chance to prove myself.
