make / manufacturer: Yamaha
model name / number: Pacifica (PAC-012)
This would make a superb first guitar, or excellent gigging guitar (especially with your choice of electronics swapped in). The yamaha pacifica is a surprisingly good quality budget guitar. The things that make budget guitars so affordable- sharp fret ends, poor/no setup, etc- this one has had those issues carefully addressed.

This baby has a few dings to the body- a couple were painted over and the red metallic paint really does a good job of hiding marks- I tried to get a picture of the worst spot (last pic).

The neck is pristine- there are two small bumps past the 12th fret on the thumb side, but it is otherwise perfect, with a silky satin finish. The fret ends were hand dressed and the fretboard edges rolled. This neck honestly feels as good as my USA fender. Added a hand-filed bone nut and roller string tree to help with tuning stability.

I have cleaned and oiled the fretboard, buffed the frets smooth, put on a new set of Ernie Ball Slinkies, set up and intonated the guitar. The action is nice and low across the neck, and the action at the handmade nut is ~0.022” so very comfortable, less stress on your hands chording. Fret wear is nonexistent. Bridge is floated level, with ~1/2step pitch raise available, which is how I like it. Obviously adjustable.

All in all, here is a $200 guitar with $200 of upgrade work. I’m selling because I mostly play acoustic these days, and just don’t need so many guitars around the house.

On Reverb, these start at just under $200 with shipping, without any of the fine tuning work.

Asking $175 OBO, cash only.
