The Bitterroot 50 Mile Yard Sale is bearing down on me (June 26–27), and I've accumulated the kind of "treasures" that don't price and stage themselves. I need a reliable human between now and the 28th to help me turn a pile of stuff into an actual, money-making operation.
The gig: Staging and prepping vehicles, equipment, and a glorious assortment of good junk — cleaning, pricing, arranging, and making it all look less like a hoard and more like a curated experience. Then cleanup afterward, hauling the leftovers off to donation.
The dream candidate:
Able and willing to actually show up and put in hours over the next couple weeks — perfect for someone between jobs, lightly scheduled, or interested in talking about other opportunities down the line
Mechanical aptitude = major bonus. I've got some classic Toyotas that deserve to be cleaned up and shown off, so if you know your way around a vehicle, you go straight to the front of the line
Honest, hardworking, and not allergic to a little dust
Bonus points if you want to keep the momentum going and camp out on site. I'm only halfway kidding — we're nestled in Stevensville just off the Eastside Highway with fantastic views, so if you've got a camper, bring it. Wake up to the mountains and a '70s Land Cruiser. Coffee provided, probably.
Pay: Negotiable — based on your skills, your hustle, and your honesty. Impress me and we'll figure it out.
