Sunny has farrowed twice and done beautifully on her own. She’s a very good mama. She is also a sweet pig—affectionate and friendly. She loves grazing in the pasture and taking her babies out with her.
Klaus is a fantastic boar. He’s got an extremely social personality. He is gentle and sweet. Does a great job making babies!
We are shifting gears and it’s an hard decision to let these guys go, but we are in the midst of other expansion and it makes more sense for us not to raise pork anymore. We hope these two might find a home where they can continue to be productive breeders or grazers and pets, but we will also sell each separately. Both are full kunekune and about 2.5 years old.
In a a couple months we will also have a beautiful, very large kunekune-IPP sow to sell. She will farrow soon. We love her like crazy too , and she makes awesome, big pigs that are the perfect balance meat and lard.
