If I had one word to describe this vehicle to a new owner it would be RELIABLE. In fact, we just bought our third LX, (1 GX too) and I hate to get rid of it. With 3 teenage drivers and a father’s love of cars we simply don’ have room.

While it served as the wife’s daily driver for the last decade many people seek these hard-to-find SUV’s for their off-road capabilities. With a few modifications you can build your dream Overlander. In fact, many would argue that it’s one of the best body-on-frame SUVs ever made. Or, if you are like us and simply need an extremely reliable daily driver – you’ve found it. The 4.7 Liter Toyota 2UZ-FE (cast-iron block) motor is built to last! It’s the popular and reliable Toyota Landcruiser platform with the luxury Lexus LX bells and whistles.

This one happens to be babied and very well maintained.

Highlights:
- Tow package
- 2nd Row DVD
- Bluetooth
- Powder-coated wheels
- WeatherTech Floor Mats

Recent Maintenance
- Oil Change, serviced front/rear differentials, serviced transfer case, new radiator fan clutch, thermostat & gasket, engine and passenger compartment filters
- New brakes (2022), New Muffler (2020)
- New AC Compressor, Engine Bay Fuse Box (AC stopped working, replaced all parts – turned out a rock had clipped a wire that is exposed through front grille!)
- New windshield, new front sway bar bushings, new front driver side axle (CV boot leak)

Known deficiencies:
- Parking lot idiot mark driver’s side rear bumper (see pics)
- Has remote start installed – however we somehow lost the FOB’s in a move and use the standard keys. Unlocks with key fob but need to manually lock door when exiting vehicle. New remote start FOB or rewire just hasn’t been done yet!

With a sticker price of nearly $70k back in 2005, it can be yours for $19,900.
