This class is designed for beginners to blacksmithing. Participants will learn the use of gas and charcoal forges. We will cover hammer control, forging technique and tools. Class participants will be creating at least four projects, a rose head nail, a wall hook, a steak turning hook, hoof pick and possibly one other. Class price is $100 per person. Bring lunch, water bottle, and safety glasses/goggles. Leather gloves are optional. Participants must reserve their spot in the class ahead of time by sending registration to me or going to www.sentinelforge.com and register/pay via PayPal before your spot can be reserved. or Craigslist for more info. Class will run from 9am-4 to 4:30pm with a lunch break. Act fast, first come first served. I have 6 spots available per class and these spots usually fill up. If you show up the day of the class without reserving your spot ahead of time, there may not be room available to accommodate you so please contact me a day or two ahead of the class.
